A cyclist was killed after being hit by a Nasimon, a locally operated three-wheeler, in Chakuali village under Nohata Union of Mohammadpur upazila in Magura.

The deceased was identified as Tobarek Molla, 48.

The accident happened on Friday (February 21) morning in Chakulia village.

According to police, Tobarek was heading to a field on his bicycle when the Nasimon hit him, leaving him critically injured. Locals rescued him and took him to Magura 250-Bed Hospital, where the emergency department doctor declared him dead.

Mohammadpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Abdur Rahman said that an unnatural death case is being filed over the incident.
