The government has dismissed six Assistant Police Superintendents (Probationary) from service, who were undergoing training as part of the 40th BCS (Police) batch in Rajshahi's Sarda.
The Ministry of Home Affairs issued the notification on Thursday (February 20) through a circular signed by Senior Assistant Secretary Touhseef Ahmed in the Police Branch-1 of the Public Security Division.
The officers are Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman, Manas Kirtaniya, Shantu Roy, Mohammad Sohel Rahman, Kazi Faizul Karim, and Sanjeev Dev.
The order was issued with the approval of the relevant authorities.
Earlier, on November 19 last year, the passing-out parade for the 40th BCS (Police) batch's Assistant Police Superintendents (Probationary) had been postponed due to unavoidable circumstances. The training program will continue until the parade takes place.
