Mahfuz Alam made information and broadcasting adviser

Mahfuz Alam has been appointed as the adviser to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. 

The Cabinet Division issued a notification confirming the appointment on Wednesday (February 26).

The position became vacant after former adviser Nahid Islam resigned on Tuesday (February 25). Following his resignation, Mahfuz Alam’s name had been widely discussed as his possible replacement.
