Nasiruddin Patwari, convener of the National Citizens’ Committee, praised BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia for her leadership and contribution to the nation.
He praised Khaleda Zia while speaking at a women’s rally on Sunday (February 16), organized by the National Citizens’ Committee’s women’s wing in front of the National Museum in capital’s Shahbagh.
Patwari said that Khaleda Zia nurtured and guided the country with courage.
He said that their goal is to take Bangladesh to a position where Khaleda Zia’s vision for the country can be realized.
Patwari also accused Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina of committing atrocities against the people of Bangladesh.
Patwari claimed that over the past 15 years, women have faced killings, enforced disappearances, rape, imprisonment, and other forms of oppression.
