Members of fire fighter have recovered four bodies from a six-story building in the capital’s Shahajadpur area which came under fire.

Talha Bin Jashim, an official of fire service headquarter confirmed the matter on Monday (March 3) at 1:30 pm.

He said the fire broke out at 12:17 this afternoon. Following the incident, immediately two firefighting units were dispatched into the scene. 

After fire was doused, a total of four dead bodies were recovered from the building’s staircases and bathroom, he said.

Officer in-charge of Gulshan police station Mahmudur Rahman said the deceased not yet identified.
