Tetulia in Panchagarh recorded the lowest temperature in Bangladesh today (Nov 30), with a reading of 10.3°C, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).
The district has been experiencing the lowest temperatures for the past five days.
However, the intensity of the cold decreased with the appearance of sunlight.
On Saturday morning, locals ventured out for work dressed in warm clothing, while the cold was particularly severe overnight.
Jitendra Nath, weather official at Tetulia weather station, said Tte temperature was recorded at 10.4 degrees Celsius at 6 am on Saturday. The temperature was recorded at 11.4 degrees Celsius at 6 am on Friday.
