The academic activities of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) have been suspended until February 28.

The decision was made during the 98th emergency meeting of the university's syndicate on Wednesday (February 19).

The meeting was chaired by Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Mashud.

Earlier, At least 50 people were injured in clashes at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) as students confronted each other over demands to ban student politics.

The clashes were erupted on Tuesday (February 18) noon when students protesting against student politics confronted Chhatra Dal activists on campus.
