Bashundhara Toiletries has supported a ‘sales carnival’ programme of marketing department at Dhaka University to share practical knowledge among the students.
DU treasurer Jahangir Alam Chowdhury inaugurated the two-day carnival on Wednesday marking the golden jubilee anniversary of the department.
Carnival convener Prof Shehely Parvin and Bashundhara Paper assistant general manager Mohammad Karimul Arafat were also present on the occasion.
Bashundhara Toiletries is a partner in the carnival while the Monalisa brand is also with the campaign.
Students of the Marketing Department are in the role of sellers in the sales carnival. Cosmetics, handicrafts and colorful clothes, on the other hand, women's essential products, books, coil tissues and various necessary products are on display.
There are stalls with various products arranged, and buying and selling is going on. It is like a festive fair.
Sales Fair convener Dr. Shehely Parvin expressed her gratitude to Bashundhara Group for being a partner in such an initiative.
Shoppers were excited to be able to buy various products at discounted and affordable prices at the carnival. Those concerned believe that such an initiative will be of great help in enhancing the practical skills of students, the organizers said.
