WiMAX internet service provider, Banglalion Communications Limited, launched its WiMAX service in Khulna this time after Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet and Rajshahi.

Banglalion authority disclosed this in a press conference at a local hotel on Saturday.  

Chief Commercial Officer of the company Shafiul Haque Chowdhury said they started working to bring Khulna zone under WiMAX coverage, so that they could participate in the country’s economic growth.

Besides, Banglalion would play a role in flourishing education and business in Khulna, said Shofiul Haque.   

In Khulna, the internet service provider also offers attractive internet packages between 128 kbps and 5mbps.

Under special package, student can get the WiMAX connection with 256 kbps at Tk 800 only.

Among others, General Manager (admin) Abul Kalam Azad and Head of Media and Communications GM Faruq Khan attended the press meet.
