State Minister for Posts, Telecommunication and Information Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak publicly apologised before the nation for his failure to ensure uninterrupted internet connection and to prevent rumors on social media.

“I am shouldering all responsibilities for my failure to ensure uninterrupted internet connection and to prevent rumors on social media. I promise to accept any decision that comes from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for my failure,” he said.

Palak made this apology on Friday (August 2) afternoon at his residence in Natore, while holding a meeting.
