BNP has submitted 62 proposals to the Constitutional Reform Commission, including recommendations to retain the positions of Deputy President and Deputy Prime Minister.

A two-member delegation, led by BNP Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed, presented the written proposal to the Commission's Chief Professor Ali Riaz on Tuesday (November 26).

Speaking to the media, Salahuddin Ahmed said, “Our proposal considers the July-August mass uprising, the current political context, and the need to safeguard against the emergence of future dictatorships.”

He also said: “We have made proposals concerning the judiciary, the Vice President, and the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure a balanced distribution of power in the future.”
