Former IGP Moinul Islam appointed ambassador

The government has appointed former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Md Moinul Islam as an ambassador.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued an order on Tuesday (November 26), in this regard.

However, the order did not specify the country where he would serve as ambassador.

Md Moinul Islam was appointed as IGP on August 7, following the fall of Sheikh Hasina’s government during the student and public uprising. Before his appointment, he was serving as the Commandant of the Traffic and Driving School in Dhaka in a supernumerary position as an Additional IGP.
