The Tip:

1. Prep wet hair with a moisturizing product that will protect strands from heat and humidity.

2. Dry your hair with a round brush, section by section, smoothing out the hair and turning the ends slightly out. Use a straightener to really kick the ends out.

3. Curl the top section of hair with a large barrel curling iron, and pin the curls in place. Let them set and cool.

4. Remove the pins and run your hands through your hair for added texture. Finish with a hairspray that also provides shine.
