Health Minister Samanta Lal Sen visited Old Dhaka's Mitford Hospital, Dhaka Medical College Hospital, and Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery without protocol on Monday, when the nation was celebrating Eid-ul-Azha.

The minister visited the hospitals and inquired about the overall management, including emergency services, and the availability of doctors, nurses, and other employees during the Eid holiday.

He also checked whether any issues had disrupted the emergency medical services on the public holiday, according to a press release.

The minister arrived at Mitford Hospital at 10:30 am and inspected the emergency unit, ICU, and surgery department. He spoke with doctors, nurses, other staffers, and patients to ensure they were receiving proper treatment.

Later, he visited Dhaka Medical College Hospital and Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery, where he inspected the emergency and other departments of the hospitals.
