Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Samanta Lal Sen on Saturday (April 13) expressed satisfaction with the medical services provided to the people during Eid.

The health minister made the statement while briefing reporters after a surprise visit to the Kurmitola General Hospital and the Kuwait-Bangladesh Friendship Government Hospital in the capital.

He said, "Before Eid, I said there should be no disruption in health services. I have taken information from every division, and every medical college. They assured me that there was no disruption in medical services. Another thing is that this Eid we have made good accommodation arrangements for doctors and nurses so that they can work spontaneously.”

Dr. Samant Lal Sen said I promised that I would supervise the health system on Eid myself. That's why I'm here today. This monitoring will be continued.

State Minister of Health Dr. Rokeya Sultana, Secretary of Health Services Jahangir Alam, and Director General of Health Department Abul Basar Mohammad Khurshid Alam were present during the occasion.
