As the proverb goes ‘The journey of thousand miles begins with a step’, the top model Arnab Antu proved it with the signing of his second film ‘Jol Jochnai’ after a long break.  

For Arnab Antu, the first step to breaking into the film industry was modeling. He started out having a vast career as a model, before signing the films.

Arnab Antu told banglanews that after nine years, I signed a film. The shooting started on June 3 while the story is about the life of a village robber named ‘Yusuf’. It’s a romantic action film, he also said.

His first film, "Hudsoner Bonduk’ which got the government grant, was not released finally for some unknown reason."

He said, "From the beginning, my aim was to enter the big screen. However, my first film got interrupted for some unknown reason, I was very disheartened. Now I am performing on a story that well suits me." 

"Besides, the story of the film is beautiful and I am enjoying my work, I am positive about my character Yusuf, and the movie will soon arrive in the theater, Antu added.

This actor started working in Bangladesh media in 2013. He has been a model for about 150 commercials. An advertisement of film director and producer Mostofa Sarwar Farooki made him popular among his fans.

Arnab Antu has done about 50 dramas. Among them, 'Anti Hero', 'Second Introduction' and 'Janmadag' helped him earn acclaim in the small screen.
