B. Prasad Crowned Mr. World Bangladesh 2024

In a stunning event held at Le Méridien Dhaka, B. Prasad clinched the title of Mr. World Bangladesh 2024, securing his place to represent the nation at the upcoming Mr. World 2024 international competition in Vietnam.

Shamsul Alom was named the 1st Runner-Up, while Serajus Salekin and Rafsan Jany were jointly awarded the 2nd Runner-Up position.

The grand event was licensed by Omicon Entertainment and organized by Aristocrat Events and The Platform, with Xposure Fashions supporting the event photography. Sponsors included Premier Printing Press, BioScience AgroChem, TechVen Properties and Prems Collection.

A prestigious judging panel featured Robert McKelvey, a leading businessman, Sanjida Arefin Luna, a renowned fashion choreographer, Khaled Sujan, top professional model and fashion icon, and Don Sumdany, a respected corporate trainer. Adding to the grandeur, the event was graced by Mehedi Hasan Fahim, reigning Mr. World Bangladesh 2019, and Shammi Islam Nila, Miss World Bangladesh 2023.

In his speech, Engr. Mehedi Hasan, Licensee and Chairman of Omicon Entertainment, expressed:  

“Julia Morley’s Mr. World Bangladesh is more than a competition—it’s a platform for creating change-makers who will elevate the nation's image on the global stage.*”

Dola Hasan, Chairman of Miss World Bangladesh Organization, emphasized the importance of the pageant in fostering leadership and charitable contributions:  

“Through platforms like Mr. World, we empower individuals to not only excel in their fields but to also drive positive change in society.”

With the 11th edition of Mr. World set to take place in Vietnam this November, Bangladesh’s representative is ready to shine on the global stage and carry forward the nation’s pride.
