Bangladesh's largest online tourist group, 'Tour Group BD' (TGB), disappeared from Facebook on July 13.

According to the founder of TGB Imranul Alam, the group has been removed by the Facebook authorities without any definite reason. The group had about 1.6 million members. The group has been playing an effective role in providing various information about Bangladesh travel and discovering new tourist spots.

The group regularly conducts tour events within the country and outside the country with travel enthusiasts. Besides, if anyone has any problem before or after the trip, the group provides immediate help, said the founder.

"I hope Facebook authorities will enable the group and help us contribute to the development of the country and our tourism sector," he added.
