A Dhaka court today (April 26) granted bail to film producer, Rahmat Ullah after he was served a case filed by Shakib Khan.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate, Arafatul Rakib passed the order.

Earlier today, Rahmat Ullah appeared before the court, accompanied by his lawyer. 

Shakib Khan was not present in today's hearing, as he had submitted a time petition through his lawyer.

Earlier, on March 23 this year, Shakib Khan filed a case against Rahmat Ullah with a Dhaka court on the charges of extortion.

Shakib filed another case on March 27 this year with a Dhaka Tribunal, against Rahmat Ullah, under the Digital Security Act (DSA), for making "objectionable" remarks about him.

Recently, Rahmat Ullah filed a case against Shakib Khan, stating the actor had made derogatory statements about him.
