DHAKA: Manarat International University (MIU) will arrange a daylong workshop on photography and photojournalism on April 19 on its Mirpur-1 Campus in the city.

The workshop will be conducted by Reuters’ Senior Photographer Rafiqur Rahman.

Media Club of the university’s Journalism and Media Studies (JMS) department will organize the program and every participant will be given certificate.

The workshop will remain open for all.

Lecturer of the department Rafiquzzaman Ruman, also advisor of the MIU JMS Media Club, made the disclosure to banglanews.

He said, “The day-long workshop will be arranged considering the need of the freelance photographers and professional photojournalists.”

It would also help the students of journalism, he added.
