DHAKA: Country’s stock markets marked fall in its price indices on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, shed over nine points only to stand at 4,118 at the close on the last trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 101,906 with volume of transactions at Tk 4,126 million.

Of the issues traded, 129 advanced, 133 declined and 27 remained unchanged.

RNSPIN topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 275 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were GP, HEIDELBCEM, ACTIVEFINE, SQURPHARMA, BSCCL, OLYMPIC, BEXIMCO, TALLUSPIN and LANKABAFIN.  

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8,027 by dropping over 15 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 82 gained, 108 declined and 24 remained unchanged.
